Some of the most innovative Hunter Douglas window treatments offered by Blinds 360 are cellular shades, or honeycomb shades. These shades get their name from the unique cells that are joined together to create each window treatment. Duette® shades are the original line in this collection and come in a wide variety of fabrics, colors, and textures.
While they are beautiful to look at, Duette shades are most often selected for their energy efficiency. The cells that make up these window treatments trap cold, winter air before it enters a room and keeps out the heat of the summer, reducing your heating and cooling bills and helping to maintain a comfortable temperature inside.
Duette Architella® shades are available with two layers of fabric in each cell, increasing their energy efficiency. Hunter Douglas offers a light-diffusing inner layer for these shades to allow natural light to shine through while blocking the unwanted cold or heat from outside.
Duette Duolite™ shades are made with two different fabrics – a translucent fabric on top and an opaque one on bottom. This feature allows you to enjoy natural light and privacy at the same time when some of each fabric type is covering your windows. You can also adjust the shade so that the opaque fabric covers the entire window to block out any light at night or the translucent fabric covers it to provide filtered light during the day.
While all Duette shades come standard with the UltraGlide® operating system, which uses a retractable cord to raise and lower the shades, they are also available with a completely cordless system and can even be motorized through Hunter Douglas’s PowerView motorization system.
Blinds 360 also offers a variety of other window shades from premium brands such as Worldwide Window Fashions, Hartman + Forbes, Horizons, DeVenco, Phifer, Rollense, and Mermet.
